Join Ward one of the UK s leading metal recycling and waste management companies as a Senior Commercial Manager in our dynamic Non-Ferrous division.
We re seeking a motivated and knowledgeable commercial professional to take responsibility for building and managing our national non-ferrous purchasing network. This is a field-based role with regular travel to our UK sites, suppliers, and partners. You ll play a key role in developing and growing our non-ferrous tonnage, overseeing supplier pricing, and supporting operational teams across material quality and commercial strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grow non-ferrous purchasing across the UK and increase supply to Ward sites.
- Develop and manage supplier relationships, pricing structures, and material quality standards.
- Support market development for individual grades and new business streams.
- Produce supplier pricing sheets and provide insight on market conditions.
- Oversee supplier payments and liaise with internal accounts teams.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Non-Ferrous and site teams on operational alignment.
- Manage and deliver UK-wide non-ferrous projects.
- Support the wider team through coaching and attending joint site visits.
