Overview of the role:

Hours and location: 40 hours per week, Mondays to Fridays. The role will be based at Donald Ward House, Ilkeston.

WARD are looking for a motivated individual to join our Export Team. Strong organisational and time management skills, along with great attention to detail are at the heart of the role.

Job Purpose:

Ward are looking for an Export Administrator to join a small team who are responsible for producing all documents required for the goods that are exported out of the UK from multiple sites. This is a fast-paced team with weekly deadlines. The successful candidate will have good attention to detail that can work on their own initiative and deal with the pressures this role brings. We need a good problem solver and someone that can pivot and adapt their working day based on what is a priority.

An example of documentation produced would include: invoices, packing list, certificate of origin, Bills of Lading, Pre Shipment Inspection Certificate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be carrying out daily administrative tasks to support the accounts’ function. This may include the following duties:
  • Making and receiving telephone calls
  • Maintenance of data in the computer system
  • Present documents as required under Letter of credit contracts within the given time period.
  • Produce and source export documentation for any non LC contracts.
