ELV Car Depollution and Dismantler (Car Mechanic)

ELV Car Depollution and Dismantler (Car Mechanic) Recycleacar have an exciting opportunity for an End of Life (ELV) Car Depollution and Dismantler who has experience as a car mechanic to join our scrap car recycling business based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. You will be part of a team of recycling professionals all committed to doing their part in environmental sustainability. Responsibilities: – Operating a FLT – Understanding how to recycle parts of each vehicle – Ensure proper documentation and paperwork for each job – Maintain a clean and organised work environment – Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers Requirements: – Ability to dismantle cars – Experience as a car mechanic – Experience in operating a FLT advantageous – Strong knowledge of vehicle recovery techniques and equipment – Ability to work independently and problem-solve on the spot – Excellent communication and customer service skills – Physical strength and ability to lift heavy objects Benefits: * Training and development opportunities * Employee assistance programme * Company Pension If you have a passion for dismantling vehicles, a commitment to recycling, and the skills required for this role, we would love to hear from you.
