Job description Ward are currently recruiting for an experienced Crane Driver to join our team in Ilkeston. You will be part of a hardworking team of employees who support in the recycling of over half a million tonnes of ferrous and non-ferrous metals each year. Hours 40 + hours per week Monday to Friday. Please note that weekend work and occasional evening work may be required. Overtime will be paid at a higher rate. Requirements: The successful candidate will have experience working as a Crane Driver/Plant Operative and ideally within the waste/scrap industry. They will be self motivated, hardworking, team players who are able to work occasional weekends as required. Duties will include: * Operate crane and other equipment in a safe, competent manner * Monitor materials and report and non-acceptable material items * Reform material pile to ensure most effective grab volume * Maintain clean and safe work environment Benefits: * Competitive salary and bonus scheme * Company Pension * Bike to Work Scheme About Us: Today Ward Recycling employs over 400 people and operates a fleet of over 120 vehicles.
