Ward Security are looking for a Multiskilled Operative to join their expanding team. The successful candidate will be accountable and responsible for the installation and maintenance of the Temporary Video Verification Systems, Mobile CCTV Towers, Bluetooth Lockboxes and padlocks, ensuring the systems are installed, removed, and maintained in a timely manner as requested by the client and maintenance schedules.
You will be responsible for the management and maintenance of the various systems, liaising with the Ward Security National Operations Centre and relevant management, external agencies and partners for the setting up and monitoring of the sites whilst providing professional support to the business and clients.
Position: Solutions Multiskilled Operative
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday. 37.5 hours per week (flexibility required with starting hours)
Location: Ward Security – travel required across Kent, Surrey & London

Main Duties:
- To follow and adhere to Ward Security Limited Compliance Procedures and Company Operating Procedures
- Reporting direct to the Systems Operations Manager
- Ensuring the day-to-day management, installations, removals and maintenance of the Systems is being carried out
- Management of maintenance schedules and own workload, with optimised route planning
- Monitor, maintain and manage all related stock items and regularly check to ensure all equipment is accounted for.
- Work closely with the National Operations Centre staff and operational management to ensure customer service delivery excellence of all systems deployed on customer sites at all times
- Ensuring all system maintenance is up to date at all times and reports are completed for each site visit and recorded in the relevant database
- Site surveys for viability of systems deployment
- Accountable for safe systems of work on site with assistance of Systems Operations Manager
- Any other duties relevant to the companies’ operations of service delivery
Must have:
- Valid full UK manual driving licence
- Experience and knowledge of Quality Management, British Standards and Health and Safety
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team as well as alone
- High level of self-presentation
- IT literate - Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
- Quick thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to visualize a problem or situation and think abstractly to solve it
- A positive attitude to dealing with people and taking on challenges
