WARD are looking for an administrator to join our team based at Donald Ward House, Ilkeston, DE7 5JB. Strong organisational and time management skills, along with great attention to detail are at the heart of the role. The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday 07.30 am to 17.00 pm Monday to Friday. The role is office based. Key Responsibilities: You will be carrying out daily administrative tasks to support the Transport Supervisor and the wider transport team on an ad hoc basis. The main duties of the role include: * Data input * Responding to emails * Dealing with queries * Communicating with sites and directors regarding incoming and outgoing materials * Confirming work with third party hauliers * Speaking with hauliers and customers * Booking work onto system * Data entry * Checking haulier invoices * Answering phones * Supporting members of the team with other duties where necessary Skills and Knowledge Required: A successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative role with excellent verbal and written communication skills and good attention to detail. Some previous experience within a transport environment would be beneficial but not essential. · Excellent telephone manner, with great people skills · Ability to priorities workload and remain flexible in changing conditions · Good knowledge of Microsoft word and excel and ITY literate · Excellent eye for detail · Ability to work within a team and independently What is in it for you?
