We're looking for someone with solid experience in a construction consultancy environment, confidence in client delivery, and the ambition to grow their career. In terms of experience, we’re specifically looking for someone who has previously worked on programmes involving material movement and strategic land, ideally supporting or working directly with housing developers. A mixed sector background with consultancy experience would be strongly preferred.

Working from our Gloucester office means being part of a busy, friendly team of Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors who work closely together and support each other day to day. There’s a strong office culture and a real sense of momentum, with people regularly in the office, sharing ideas, problem‑solving together and getting stuck into projects as a team. We believe that being present in the office really matters as it helps build relationships, develop skills, and create a positive, engaging place to work. You’ll work closely alongside the Gloucester Project Management Partner, playing an active role in shaping the direction and future growth of the office. You’ll also support and develop future talent, including mentoring apprentices as they build their careers.

Your profile

  • Lead, develop, and deliver the Project Management service, supporting office growth and contributing to the strategic development of the Gloucester office
  • Provide high‑quality project management consultancy services across pre‑ and post‑contract stages
  • Lead and manage multiple stakeholders and contract administration (NEC, JCT, ICC)
  • Deliver programmes and projects across various sectors, ensuring time, cost, quality, and compliance objectives are met
  • Support business development through strong local market knowledge
  • Mentor and develop junior team members
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively
  • Manage budgets, cost control, and value engineering
  • Use project scheduling tools (Asta Powerproject / MS Project advantageous)
  • MRICS or equivalent (MCIOB, APM), with a minimum of 2 years’ construction project management experience
