We’re looking for someone with solid experience in a construction consultancy environment, confidence in client delivery, and the ambition to grow their career. You’ll be working at the forefront of high‑profile projects across a range of sectors, including:

You’ll be based alongside an experienced team of Quantity Surveyors in a professional, collaborative environment where knowledge‑sharing and support are part of everyday working life. The office offers a great balance of focused project work and team interaction, giving you exposure to a wide range of schemes and clients while learning from colleagues at different stages of their careers. City Road sits on the edge of the City and Shoreditch, with Old Street (Northern Line) just a short walk away and excellent bus connections nearby, making commuting straightforward. The area is well known for its mix of cafés, restaurants, shops, and green spaces, providing plenty of options for lunch breaks or after‑work socials. With the buzz of Silicon Roundabout and the City of London close by, the location reflects the fast‑paced, forward‑thinking nature of our work while still feeling welcoming and accessible.
Your profile
- MRICS qualification or equivalent professional qualification (e.g. MCIOB, APM) or a clear commitment to achieving chartered status.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in consultancy project management in construction.
- Able to demonstrate experience across several sectors and types of projects.
- Proven experience in delivering Programs and Project management.
- Self‑motivated and can set project direction aligned with business goals, inspire teams, and drive performance across multiple projects.
- Deep understanding of construction methodologies, design coordination, procurement, and contract administration.
- Skilled in budgeting, cost control, value engineering, and maximising profitability best value while delivering quality.
- Expertise in identifying, assessing and mitigating project risks and resolving issues before they impact timelines or budgets.
- Proficient in managing various contract forms (NEC, JCT, FIDIC, etc.) and ensuring the commercial success of projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams.
- Ability to manage complex and challenging project timelines, ensuring milestone achievement.
- Experience and understanding of using Asta Power Project and/or MS Project would be advantageous.
- Ensures projects adhere to regulatory standards, health & safety requirements and internal quality benchmarks.
- Capable of leading through change – whether in scope, schedule or resources – while maintaining team focus and morale.
- Clear, concise communicator with ability to report progress, challenges and strategies to leadership and clients.
