Can you keep a positive mindset with any challenge that comes your way? We are seeking an experienced and adaptable CCTV Controller/Supervisor to safeguard a prominent facility in London.
The CCTV Controller/Supervisor plays a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day function of the Security operation. They must familiarise themselves with duties that need to be fulfilled, to be resilient to stepping down and stepping up to meet the operational needs.
Working as part of a team of security professionals, the primary role of this position is to provide customer services and security protection to MAPP staff, premises, and assets, ensuring that those duties are always carried out to the highest standards.
Role Requirements:
- SIA License
- CCTV License
- Good customer service and communication skills
- CCTV Controller/Supervisor experience - minimum 1 year
- Excellent Organisational and Time Management skills
- Experience within Corporate Security (Min 1 Year)
- Surveillance skills and detail orientation
- 5 year checkable work history
- IT literate - Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
Main Duties:
- Monitor the CCTV Cameras closely and identify any threats or suspicious behaviour
- Operating, monitoring, and responding to security and safety systems including CCTV, Access Control, Alarms monitoring and Fire alarms
- Provide full handover at end of shift to the oncoming DSM/CCTV Supervisor
- Book the team on duty using the automated system
- Work closely with the Duty Shift Manager in running the day-to-day security operation
- Follow the directions of the Security Shift Manager & Security Manager
- To deputise for the Shift Manager whenever required
- Conduct external and various internal patrol duties
- Support occupiers, contractors, visitors and tourists with enquiries
- Report writing following security investigations or incidents
- Management of all communications from the Security Control Room
- Ensure compliance with the Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessment, Policies & Procedures
- Bring to the immediate attention of Duty Shift Manager, Security Manager and/or Property Management Team of any incident or complaint
- Ensure all record keeping maintains accuracy
- Fulfil AdHoc duties/tasks assigned to the highest standards
- Be prepared to step down and step up due to operational requirements
- Ensure your working environment is always clean and presentable
