In this fast-paced position, you’ll be at the forefront of attracting and engaging high calibre candidates, delivering a seamless and professional recruitment experience for candidates, hiring managers, and stakeholders across the business.

Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist
Location: The Historic Dockyard, Chatham, Kent, ME4 4TZ
Salary: Β£28,000 – Β£33,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and tailor recruitment strategies accordingly
  • Source candidates through multiple channels including job boards, social media, and professional networks
  • Conduct thorough screening of CVs and applications to determine candidate eligibility and alignment with role requirements
  • Coordinate interviews and manage scheduling between hiring team and candidates
  • Take ownership of the onboarding process, ensuring smooth transitions for successful hires
  • Verify that all compliance documentation is complete before offers are made
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of relevant candidates for active and upcoming roles
  • Act as the main point of contact for candidate queries throughout the recruitment process
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment campaigns from job posting to offer stage

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 2+ years proven experience with a strong track record in filling a variety of roles – Security industry experience desirable
  • Excellent understanding of recruitment processes and candidate selection methods
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building strong relationships with both candidates and hiring managers
  • Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organisation and time management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
