Are you a highly organised and reliable Post Room Officer looking for an opportunity in a prestigious corporate environment? Position: Post Room Officer

Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday

Hours: 07:00 – 19:00

Location: London EC4A 2BJ

Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and parcels accurately and efficiently
  • Prepare and dispatch outgoing mail, courier deliveries, and recorded items in line with company procedures
  • Manage courier bookings and liaise with external delivery providers
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and tracked items
  • Provide a professional and efficient service to tenants, visitors, and colleagues
  • Ensure the post room is organised, secure, and maintained to a high standard
  • Monitor stock levels of mailing and packaging supplies, reporting replenishment requirements
  • Handle confidential and sensitive correspondence with discretion
  • Support Health & Safety compliance within the post room
  • Carry out any additional duties as required by the company

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Previous experience working within a post room, mailroom, logistics, or corporate support environment
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident, reliable, and customer-focused at all times
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work efficiently in a busy environment
  • Basic IT skills and experience using Microsoft Office applications are desirable
