Ward Security is seeking a highly motivated and reliable Security Patrol Officer to join our team based at our client’s premises at 78 Cannon Place-business centre located next to Cannon Street, and a three-minute walk from Mansion House, Bank and Monument stations, providing easy access to the London Underground.
The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy-going personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors.

Position: Patrol Officer
Pay rate: £13.92 per hour
Shift Pattern: 7/3 7/4 Days/Nights 56h per week
Location: 78 Cannon Place London EC4N 6HL
Role Requirements: Valid SIA licence

Main Duties:
  • Proactively patrol assigned areas, identifying and addressing potential security risks
  • Guard access points, permitting or refusing entry, restraining trespassers
  • Complete daily reports, including relevant information, observations, surveillance footage, and signatures
  • Investigate and take appropriate lawful action as authorized by corporate policy on accidents, incidents, trespassing, suspicious activities, safety, and fire incidents
  • Interact with clients and visitors, providing assistance and fostering positive relationships
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies with professionalism and efficiency
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and security
  • Enforce company policies and procedures
Must have:
  • Valid SIA licence
  • 1 year of experience in security or a related field
  • A positive attitude to dealing with people and taking on challenges
  • Surveillance skills and detail orientation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • IT literate - Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
