The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a clean and professional environment, and maintaining a high level of security. You will possess a robust background in the security sector, demonstrate proficiency in IT systems, excel in multitasking, and maintain a professional and polished demeanour alongside excellent personal presentation. Excellent communication skills are essential.

Within this role, you will carry out ID checks, respond to emergencies and provide information to all staff and visitors as and when necessary.

  • Pay Rate: £13.70 p/h
  • Shift Pattern: Various (Days, Nights & Weekends) guaranteed 40 hours per week
  • Location: Kent including Dartford, Medway, Swale, Ashford, Canterbury and surrounding areas

Role Requirements: SIA License and manual driving licence

Main Duties:

  • Act as a point of contact and information centre for staff, visitors, and tenants.
  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions.
  • Adhere to all instructions, written and verbal.
  • Control access points, allowing or denying entry to visitors.
  • Conduct regular patrols to deter threats to client property and assets.
  • Investigate incidents and take appropriate lawful action as per corporate policy.
  • Complete daily reports with detailed information, observations, and surveillance footage.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills across all platforms, including verbal, written, and via security radios.

Must haves:

  • Valid Frontline SIA licence
  • UK manual driving licence
  • Minimum 1 year of proven work experience as a Corporate Security Officer
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Exemplary standards of personal presentation
  • IT literate with the ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
  • Quick thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Positive attitude towards people and challenges
  • Must be available 7 days a week
