Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist
Location: The Historic Dockyard, Chatham, Kent, ME4 4TZ
Salary: Β£28,000 β Β£33,000 per annum
Hours: Monday β Friday 37.5 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and tailor recruitment strategies accordingly
- Source candidates through multiple channels including job boards, social media, and professional networks
- Conduct thorough screening of CVs and applications to determine candidate eligibility and alignment with role requirements
- Coordinate interviews and manage scheduling between hiring team and candidates
- Take ownership of the onboarding process, ensuring smooth transitions for successful hires
- Verify that all compliance documentation is complete before offers are made
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of relevant candidates for active and upcoming roles
- Act as the main point of contact for candidate queries throughout the recruitment process
- Manage full-cycle recruitment campaigns from job posting to offer stage
Qualifications and Skills:
- 2+ years proven experience with a strong track record in filling a variety of roles β Security industry experience desirable
- Excellent understanding of recruitment processes and candidate selection methods
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building strong relationships with both candidates and hiring managers
- Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organisation and time management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
