We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Security Officer to safeguard a prominent facility in Solihull.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a clean and professional environment, and maintaining a high level of security. You will possess a robust background in the security sector, demonstrate proficiency in IT systems, excel in multitasking, and maintain a professional and polished demeanour alongside excellent personal presentation.
Excellent communication skills are essential. Within this role, you will carry out ID checks, respond to emergencies and provide information to all staff and visitors as and when necessary.

Role : Security Officer Pay Rate: £13.46 per hour Shift Pattern: Days 36 Hours per week, Friday, Saturday and Sundays Location : Solihull, B90 4NY Role Requirements: SIA License, CCTV licence desirable

Objectives

  • To provide the security measures necessary for the safeguarding of the property and people within theDevelopment
  • To protect the premises above from possible unauthorised entry by use of force or illegal instruments whereby a loss of goods may result in subsequent damage to the client\’s business.
  • To ensure effective security of the assigned patrol locations against damage by fire, water, theft or vandalism.
  • To detect, where possible, those responsible for losses or malicious damage to the client\’s property.
  • To ensure that all persons wishing to enter the premises are fully identified as belonging to either the authorised client\’s personnel or visitors whom the client management can verify.
  • To ensure that all reasonable instructions the client issues are implicitly and swiftly obeyed.
  • To provide a robust and efficient emergency response system to any emergency within the development.

Responsibilities

· Manning of the control room for CCTV for qualified personnel

· Security equipment Issue for CCTV-qualified personnel

· Access control and key issue CCTV qualified personnel

· Foot patrols and security of WDP 40
