We are seeking an experienced and reliable Logistics Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all on-site logistics activities. You will be responsible for managing the flow of goods, supervising delivery processes, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining high standards of safety and customer service. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and confident communication are essential for this role.

Position: Logistics Supervisor

Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday, 60 Hours per Week

Location: London EC1A 7BL

Pay Rate: £15.61 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the running of the day-to-day contract, as dictated by the Head of Security.
  • Dealing with the contractors’ deliveries includes monitoring the usage of the loading of the goods lift.
  • Co-ordinate the training of new staff in line with company regulations.
  • Ensure that all trainees are trained to a high level.
  • Hand over all shift information relating to the running of the Loading Bay.
  • Ensure that Hostile Vehicle Mitigation measures are strictly enforced.
  • Attend client Huddle Meetings or meetings that concern the loading bay & the building.
  • Ensure that the loading bay areas are well maintained and kept to a high standard of cleanliness and operational efficiency.
  • Help to manage the day-to-day administration of the loading bay access control system.
  • Ensure that strict access control measures are enforced and maintained at the Loading Bay.
  • Monitor traffic management and report any violations.
  • Cover Post Room duties while Post Room Officer is on break or post run.
  • Comply with the rules on loading bay operational hours as set by the Corporation of London.
  • Assist Emergency Services as required.
