The Vacancy
Are you a Risk & Compliance professional looking for your next challenge in a dynamic, fast paced environment?
We're looking for a Risk & Compliance Analyst to join our growing firm.
- What will I be doing
- Obtaining and analysing all necessary documentation for KYC/AML/CDD and sanctions.
- Carrying out CDD and screening for PEPs and sanctions
- Keeping records of measures applied to each client matter.
- Responding to KYC, AML/CDD and sanctions queries.
- Evaluating new and existing clients to understand the nature of the business, ownership structure and associated risks.
- Obtaining and analysing information on beneficial ownership.
- Carrying out enhanced due diligence checks and escalating complex/high-risk KYC issues.
- Investigating negative media/news findings.
- Advising our fee earners on AML and sanctions policy requirements.
- Assisting with training new employees on our firm's processes and procedures.
- You'll have
- Previous experience in KYC/AML/CDD and sanctions and you'll be keen to further your career in compliance.
- Ideally compliance experience gained within a law firm.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem solving skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent IT Skills with proficiency in Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.
