We're looking for a Social Housing Conveyancer to join our team in Newcastle. The purpose of this role is to provide a high level of service to our clients in the processing of social housing disposals from receipt of instructions through to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Disposals of affordable dwellings (e.g. Right to Buy transactions, grant of shared ownership leases)
  • Deal with client requirements on the re-sale of affordable dwellings
  • Lease extensions
  • Shared ownership lease staircasing transactions
  • Act proactively to ensure client timescales are met
  • Liaise with and regularly update clients
  • File administration and management of own files
  • Maintain high level of IT skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent telephone and client service skills
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • Exceptional attention to detail
