We're looking for a Social Housing Conveyancer to join our team in Newcastle. The purpose of this role is to provide a high level of service to our clients in the processing of social housing disposals from receipt of instructions through to completion.
Responsibilities
- Disposals of affordable dwellings (e.g. Right to Buy transactions, grant of shared ownership leases)
- Deal with client requirements on the re-sale of affordable dwellings
- Lease extensions
- Shared ownership lease staircasing transactions
- Act proactively to ensure client timescales are met
- Liaise with and regularly update clients
- File administration and management of own files
- Maintain high level of IT skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent telephone and client service skills
- Excellent organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail
