A great opportunity has arisen for a Senior New Build Conveyancer to join our Plot Sales team in Manchester. You'll be responsible for providing a comprehensive and efficient service to our House Builder clients, managing part exchange matters from reservation through to post‑completion.
Responsibilities
- Take primary responsibility for part exchange files and associated conveyancing matters.
- Handle miscellaneous estate management and conveyancing related new build work.
- Prepare and issue contract packs, respond to enquiries, and produce clear, concise reports on title.
- Proactively manage transactions to meet or exceed client deadlines and expectations.
- Act as a key point of contact, maintaining strong client relationships and providing regular progress updates.
- Handle completion processes, including preparing completion statements and billing clients.
- Manage post‑completion work, including promptly dealing with requisitions.
- Maintain and manage your own caseload using our case management system and supervise/support junior conveyancers where needed.
Qualifications
- Experience of residential conveyancing transactions, including part exchanges, and an awareness of the housebuilding process.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and case management systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A proactive approach, working on your own initiative and as part of the plot sales team.
