We are seeking a qualified Accounts Manager (QBE/AAT Level 4 / ACCA / ACA) to join our growing accountancy practice. The ideal candidate will have accountancy practice experience and be confident in managing client portfolios, reviewing accounts, and supporting junior team members in a progressive and supportive practice.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review and Supervise: Oversee the work prepared by junior team members, providing guidance and support.
- Accounts Preparation & Review: Prepare accounts for complex clients. Review accounts before submission to the partner and assist in client discussions.
- Client Interaction: Address client queries and develop relationships, with an increasing level of client contact over time. Take ownership of a portfolio of clients and manage their accounting needs.
- Oversee WIP (work-in-progress), billing, and ensure efficient workflow management.
- Practice-Based Role: Must have previous experience in accountancy practice. Good working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Word. Ability to work from our Barnstaple or South Molton offices (North Devon).
