Ward & Burke are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Project Engineer to join our team delivering the Havant Thicket Main Pipeline Works, one of the South East's largest and most complex water infrastructure projects. This role is ideally suited to an engineer looking to develop beyond traditional site engineering and gain experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, client liaison, planning, consents and project controls.
Working closely with the Project Manager and Site Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating project interfaces, managing consents and permits, supporting stakeholder engagement, monitoring project progress and ensuring effective communication between the project team, client and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Project Manager and Site Manager in the day-to-day delivery of the project.
- Manage and coordinate permits, consents and third-party approvals.
- Liaise with the Client, regulators, local authorities, landowners and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate project communications and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Prepare project reports, progress updates and presentations.
- Track actions, risks and key project deliverables.
- Assist with programme monitoring and project controls.
- Coordinate design, construction and commercial interfaces.
- Support site teams in resolving technical and operational issues.
