The Recipe
As a Production Operative at Warburtons, you will become an essential part of our team. This isn’t just a job – it’s your chance to play a vital role in crafting the nation’s favourite bakery products to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. You’ll be at the heart of our fast-paced, 24/7 food manufacturing operation, working with innovative bakery machinery and automated plant equipment. From operating production lines to maintaining hygiene standards, your contribution will help ensure our products are ready to delight customers across the country.
- Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment.
- Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Carry out routine checks and record production data accurately.
- Follow health & safety and food hygiene procedures at all times.
- Work collaboratively with your team to meet production targets.
- Report any faults or issues promptly to the Team Leader.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas.
About Us
Our Tuscany Park “super bakery” and distribution depot opened in 2005 and can be found on the outskirts of Normanton at Wakefield Europort. The bakery runs 3 high speed, highly automated manufacturing plants producing products like the famous Toastie, Farmhouse, Danish and Wholemeal and sliced bread rolls. We have around 500 colleagues at Tuscany Park and 70 colleagues in our Howden depot, who ensure our delicious freshly baked products reach our customers across the UK each day. With some exciting innovation and investment, we’re still growing!
