Are you a Maintenance Manager or Engineering Planner, seeking a new and exciting role? Working as an Engineering Planning Manager as part of a highly skilled and established engineering team, you’ll maximise plant reliability and performance to ensure our high standards of quality are achieved and to meet customers’ expectations.
Managing the preventative maintenance system you’ll ensure overall equipment efficiency reducing downtime and damage.
The Recipe
As our Engineering Planning Manager, you’ll ensure the delivery of effective maintenance support to the site. You’ll work collaboratively with Reliability Managers and Engineering site leads to plan and schedule all maintenance activity including backlog, spares and materials. In addition, you’ll support plant criticality reviews, review maintenance plans, establishing critical spares, and be the key user for the site SAP PM maintenance system and reporting. You’ll ensure stock is available for planned maintenance and ensure contractors work safely in line with risk assessments.
The Role You'll be:
- Planning and scheduling of a risk-based maintenance strategy
- Planning shutdowns and follow on works
- Ensure data integrity within the CMMS system (SAP).
- Materials for work orders are anticipated and available for scheduled works
- CI – evaluate the effectiveness of Planned performance maintenance tasks based on KPIs
- Ensure service contracts/external supplier relationships are maintained and supplier effectiveness is reviewed.
- Contractor Control - RAMS
- Experienced Engineering Planner
- Experience of Contractor and stores management
- IT knowledge – able to use widespread functions within relevant software inc. Microsoft Office and SAP
- Analysing and problem-solving skills – anticipates problems before they occur, takes steps to deal with them/correctly & swiftly identifies the underlying problem & appropriate solutions, based on analysis of data.
- H&S knowledge e.g. IOSH – able to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communication skills – articulate/develops effective, long-term relationships with key people.
