The Recipe
As a Bakery Team Member, you will be an essential part of our production team, ensuring that our delicious products are made to the highest standards. You’ll be working on a 4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern, this means you’ll enjoy a balanced work-life schedule with plenty of time off!
- Operate and maintain bakery equipment to ensure efficient production.
- Adhere to strict quality control standards to produce top-quality products
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet daily production targets
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
- Monitor and record production data as required
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining the production area

Key Accountabilities and Measures
Located in the heart of Lancashire is the home of our delicious Crumpets, Pancakes, and Potato Cakes and other freshly baked products that are produced and distributed from our Burnley Bakery. With approximately 360 colleagues, working across 7 manufacturing plants and on a variety of different shift patterns, we operate 363 days of the year running 24 hours a day.
At Burnley we have a well-established site, with mix of the old and the new; with state-of-the-art innovation and investment over the last few years, we can manufacture a variety of family favourites across the UK.
