We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Distribution Planner to join our Logistics Planning team based at our Head Office in Bolton working a 4 on 4 off days/nights shift rota. With a fleet of over 900 vehicles and one of the biggest independent distribution networks in the UK, we are proud to be delivering our freshly baked products daily to over 17,000 customer stores across the UK. The Recipe Our Logistics planner is responsible for creating and co-ordinating the day-to-day transport and resource plan within our primary network, working closely with transport and manufacturing teams, ensuring compliance and managing any in-day changes to planning. It will take someone that thrives off working within the fast pace of the industry, It’s an extremely busy role and you’ll be planning activity for more than 200 Primary drivers daily across our national distribution network. The role is pivotal in ensuring that Warburtons maintain and enhance our customer offering of having the freshest product across the UK, in full and on time. Working as part of a busy and collaborative planning team you will have a methodical and organised approach with the ability to multi-task and prioritise your workload.
