Are you a Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver looking for a role with a bit more substance? Completing your initial training and onboarding at our established Howden Depot initially, then once our new state of the art Ferrybridge Depot goes live you’ll move there as your permanent site.

Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence with Class C entitlement
  • Full CPC

As ‘the UK’s No. 1 Bakery Brand’, we have been baking bread since 1876. Today, we are proudly a sixth-generation family business, supplying over 18,000 retail customers from 11 bakeries and 16 depots, producing a range of over 70 products, including gluten and wheat free.

The Recipe:

  • You will be supported with a 6-week induction, support from in-house driver training teams.
  • Your shift will generally start at around 3.30am, so it’s an early start, but your afternoons will be your own.
  • You will enjoy plenty of autonomy. As a driver, you’ll be given delivery notes (or an electronic device), from which you’ll accurately pick the orders and load your vehicle with bakery products.
  • Your knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and transport legislation will be key for a smooth and safe day.
  • Your route for the day will be loaded into your onboard computer.
  • Our drivers deliver to multiple customers each day, so we need you to provide a quality service that develops strong relationships and exceeds their expectations.
  • You will work a defined rotating 5 days a week pattern including weekends, amounting to 43 hours a week.
