Working alongside the Distribution Teams, you’ll drive in one of the most professional fleets in the country. Our vehicles have state of the are telematics, sat nav and tracking systems. Our teams are dedicated to ensuring our depots and hubs are ready to deliver great quality and freshness to millions of people every day.

To join the Warburtons family, you’ll need a LGV Cat C+E driving licence with no more than 6 points. You’ll also have a good knowledge of transport legislation and tachographs, be reliable, responsible and used to working in a trunking role.

The Recipe

  • Be supported with an induction, support from in-house driver training teams, SAFED and ongoing CPC. Your Driver CPC training is in work hours too, not outside of them.
  • You’ll work set contracted hours on an 18 week rota (starting at a variety of time between 0400 and 2200),all of which will hopefully help you to plan your life around work more easily.
  • Your knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance mechanical knowledge (in order to able to relay faults on defect forms) and transport legislation will be key, for example Driver Hours, WTD and the Highway Code for a smooth and safe day
  • Enjoy plenty of freedom. As a driver you’ll assist in the loading and unloading of your trailer – working safely is a key priority for us, so you’ll be
  • compliant with Health and Safety, quality, food safety and accident reporting procedures to achieve an accident-free workplace – and you’re off!
  • As you won’t only be delivering to our own depots, but also customer RDC’s, you’ll provide a quality service, that develops strong relationships, exceeds their expectations and on occasion be able to manage confrontation in a calm and professional manner, as well as acting as an ambassador for our brand with everyone, while living our values

Bellshill bakery is located between Glasgow and Edinburgh, and proudly supports Scotland as our Scottish Manufacturing site with nearly 300 colleagues working a variety of shift patterns. With two bread plants, we produce a variety of products and are the sole producer of Milk Roll for the UK in total we produce just under a million units weekly.

Our distribution teams deliver 1 million products per week to over 1,000 customers daily, covering 35,000 km per week and in 2022 we celebrated our 25th anniversary.
