We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our Manufacturing Division as a Regional Manufacturing Director. This is a pivotal, senior role responsible for leading manufacturing operations across a group of bakeries, driving strategic priorities, and delivering outstanding performance through General Managers and senior leaders within the region.
Key Accountabilities and Measures
- Lead and inspire multi-site manufacturing teams to deliver Warburtons’ strategic priorities and manufacturing performance across all indicators.
- Champion Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards, fostering a robust risk management culture.
- Drive food safety and quality performance, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
- Lead cultural change initiatives, promoting engagement and ownership of our “Fuel our Future” strategy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve productivity, efficiency, and customer service.
- Develop and implement people plans that support a sustainable, high-performance culture.
- Promote Manufacturing Excellence, adopting best practice lean tools and techniques.
- Deliver on strategic priorities including quality, reliability, innovation, and capital projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and unions.
What we are looking for
- Significant operations/manufacturing experience in a high-speed, multi-site FMCG environment.
- Proven senior leadership with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
- Visionary approach with experience in strategic planning and execution.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, able to deliver challenging P&L targets.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills at senior levels.
- Expertise in continuous improvement and project management.
- Prepared to travel across multiple bakery locations to support operations.
