Essential Ingredients

  • Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative ideally gained in a food environment
  • Detailed knowledge and experience of working towards all SOPs which affect a warehouse
  • Effective manual handling techniques training undertaken
  • Knowledge of SAP to enable allocation of product and closing of orders
  • Understanding of requirements of Hygiene & Food Safety Legislation

The Recipe

As a Warehouse Team Member, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring smooth, efficient processes while upholding our reputation for exceptional service. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • To assemble and complete all orders on time and in full for primary and secondary distribution routes (where applicable).
  • Identify deficits and take appropriate action to ensure the deficit is evenly distributed across all customers.
  • To ensure products dispatched comply with quality and date code requirements and comply with food safety legislation, initiating any required action.
  • To maintain Company hygiene and statutory hygiene standards throughout designated areas, working within the principles of basic food hygiene and good housekeeping.
  • To complete all paperwork on a timely and regular basis to ensure accurate recording and reporting of information.
  • To communicate progress on tasks with team members, highlighting operational issues to Team Manager or Managers (where applicable).
  • To stack and store all equipment in the appropriate areas, ensuring operational areas are safe and kept clear of equipment.
