What You’ll Be Doing In this role, you'll be responsible for planning, designing, delivering, and evaluating training methods and manufacturing procedures to ensure our team is always at its best. You'll identify and develop training to help achieve multi-skilled teams, supporting our mission of continuous improvement. Communication is key, as you'll connect with people at all levels within the organization to share and implement best practices. Ensuring safety is paramount, you'll operate within statutory and company health and safety guidelines, maintaining a healthy, safe, and accident-free site. Supporting site with audits. Your flexibility will be essential as you adapt to and support the ever-changing needs of our business. Key Accountabilities and Measures · Health and Safety Advocate: Encourage adherence to health and safety legislation, policies, and standards, taking action to maintain a safe work environment. Effective Trainer: Train new and current personnel, ensuring the effectiveness of training is measured and adjustments are made as needed. Champion of Consistency: Support the development of consistent training across all manufacturing areas, aligned with our Continuous Improvement programmes. Adaptable Educator: Tailor your delivery style to suit one-on-one coaching or group training, ensuring the highest standards of training are met. SOP Developer: Involve all staff in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), creating a consistent on-the-job training package from development to evaluation. About Us Our Enfield Bakery and Distribution site is one of the largest bakeries in Europe! We have 5 operating plants and around 500 colleagues who work a variety of shift patterns. At Enfield we have 40 different nationalities working together, and we celebrate our One Team family values. Our site runs 363 days of the year and operates 24/7! Based in Brimsdown in North London, 15 minutes from M25, 10 minutes’ walk from Brimsdown overground, connected easily to Liverpool Street Station via Tottenham Hale. We produce over 4.8 million crumpets per week, which is equivalent to 800,000 packets of 6 as well as producing a variety of other products. The Home of the Giant Crumpet, did you know there are 350 holes in a standard crumpet? Extra Dough Salary: Up to 35K including London weighting.
