The Recipe
You’ll be the first point of contact for our internal customers on all purchasing and engineering stores matters. From ordering spare parts and keeping accurate records on Excel, to making sure stock is stored correctly, you’ll play an important role in helping our engineering team stay up and running. As an organised and methodical Stores Administrator, you’ll also update repairs and maintenance budgets, record timesheets on Excel, and support the team with day-to-day administrative tasks.
The Role
- Co-ordinate the activity within Engineering admin to ensure customer service is maintained and continuously improved.
- Co-ordinate work allocation within Engineering admin, ensure holiday/sickness cover is provided through cross skilling.
- Ensure Engineering spend is managed effectively through accurate administration, liaise with relevant parties to ensure there are no issues with SAP.
- Engineering Stores - ensure all parts are identified and located correctly in the stores.
- Ensure that all items that require outside refurbishment are dealt with appropriately.
- Information & reporting - provide weekly and period Engineering KPI reports, weekly and period spend reports and produce Ad Hoc reports on request.
- Attendance at meetings as required for generation of action plans etc.
- Provide help and support for Hygiene and Production departments on IT systems.
- Liaise with all Engineering team members and ensure correct admin/stores procedures are adhered to.
Essential Ingredients
- Previous experience in a stores coordinator or administration role.
- Knowledge of IT systems & fully proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills and meticulous attention to detail.
