The Recipe:- You’ll receive a structured induction and support from our in-house driver training team.
- You’ll be an early riser; shifts start at 4am (some patterns may vary).
- You’ll enjoy plenty of autonomy.
- You’ll be given delivery notes (or an electronic device), from which you’ll accurately pick the orders and load your own vehicle with our baked goods.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and transport legislation will be key.
- You’ll deliver to multiple customers daily, so top-notch service, strong relationships, and professionalism are a must.
- You’ll work a defined rota, including weekends, totalling 43 hours a week, though some weeks may be less.
At Warburtons, you’re more than a driver. You load your own vehicle, making things easier to find. You’ll also ensure each delivery is picked accurately and in full from your delivery notes or electronic device.
Essential Ingredients:- LGV Cat C driving licence with no more than 6 points.
- Good knowledge of transport legislation and tachographs.
- Reliable, responsible, and used to working in a fast-paced environment, ideally with multi-drop experience.
