Job Description:

  • Contract: Full time, Permanent
  • Hours: 43 hours per week, 5 over 7 rolling rota (starting at 0400)
  • Location: Biggleswade

Are you a Class 2 Multi Drop Driver at the top of your game, but looking for something that puts you more in charge and able to provide a great customer service?

Essential Ingredients:

  • Full UK Driving Licence with Class C entitlement

As the UK's No. 1 Bakery Brand we have been baking bread since 1876. Today, we are proudly a sixth-generation family business, supplying over 18,000 retail customers from 11 bakeries and 16 depots, producing a range of over 70 products, including gluten and wheat free.

The Recipe:

  • You will be supported with a 6-week induction, support from in-house driver training teams.
  • Your shift will generally start at around 3.30am (although some patterns vary).
  • You will enjoy plenty of autonomy, loading your vehicle with bakery products.
  • Your knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and transport legislation will be key.
  • Your route for the day will be loaded into your onboard computer.
  • Our drivers deliver to multiple customers each day, providing a quality service and developing strong relationships.
  • You will work a defined rotating 5 days a week pattern including weekends.

At Warburtons, you are more than a driver! You load your own vehicle, ensuring the orders for your customers are correct.
