The Recipe:
- You will be supported with a 6-week induction and support from in-house driver training teams.
- Your shift will generally start at around 3.30am (although some patterns vary), so it’s an early start, but your afternoons will be your own.
- You will be given delivery notes (or an electronic device) to accurately pick the orders and load your vehicle with bakery products.
- Your knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and transport legislation will be key for a smooth and safe day.
- Your route for the day will be loaded into your onboard computer.
- Our drivers deliver to multiple customers each day, so we need you to provide a quality service that develops strong relationships and exceeds their expectations.
- You will work a defined rotating 5 days a week pattern including weekends.
- You load your own vehicle, ensuring the orders for your customers are correct.

Our Widnes Depot is a short drive from Junction 7 of the M62 and 3 miles away from Runcorn Station. Opened in September 2021, we now run 40 routes with over 100 colleagues in distribution and our warehouse team! Our Drivers pick and deliver to retail stores and serve the local area and across the North West.
