Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday Days 7am until 4pm

Join our growing team of Engineers at our state-of-the-art Warburtons Bakery in Enfield, one of the largest bakeries in Europe and a vital part of our national network of 11 bakeries across the UK. At our Enfield site, you'll join around 500 colleagues and work across 5 operating plants within a culture that values teamwork, development, and innovation.
The Recipe:
- Our Engineering teams undertake planned and preventative maintenance and are encouraged to use their engineering skills and experience to develop robust solutions and long-term fixes.
- There's a huge variety of tasks that will range from general plant maintenance to improving plant reliability and diagnosing problems before they develop.
- You'll be encouraged and supported to foster new ideas and perspectives whilst driving change.
- We promote a culture of continuous improvement whilst working on a changing approach to reliability centred maintenance in a highly automated production facility.
- As part of your role, you'll be identifying and completing continuous improvement projects to increase plant efficiency, reduce downtime and save energy and associated costs.
The Role:
- Ensure the highest level of health and safety is maintained at all times
- Drive improvements in asset reliability and reduce losses
- Undertake: planned maintenance, condition-based monitoring, fault finding, root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- Compliance with quality and food safety legislation
Essential Ingredients:
- Engineering Qualification such as Apprenticeship, HNC, BTECH or equivalent.
- Knowledge and experience of electrical and mechanical maintenance
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Desirable - IOSHH / Nebosh
