What You'll Be Doing?
As a Class 2 Delivery Driver, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring smooth, efficient processes while upholding our reputation for exceptional service. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Your shift will generally start at around 3.30am (although some patterns vary), so it's an early start, but on the flip side, your afternoons will be your own.
- You will also enjoy plenty of autonomy. As a driver, you'll be given delivery notes (or an electronic device), from which you'll accurately pick the orders (either prior to leaving or out on your route) and load your vehicle with bakery products.
- Your knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and transport legislation will be key, for example, Driver Hours, working time directive, and the Highway Code for a smooth and safe day.
- Your route for the day will then be loaded into your onboard computer and you're off!
- Our drivers deliver to multiple customers each day, so we need you to provide a quality service that develops strong relationships, exceeds their expectations, and on occasion, manage difficult conversations in a calm and professional manner.
- You will work a defined rotating 5 days a week pattern including weekends. That's 43 hours a week, although a typical week can sometimes be less than that.

- Able to commute to Enfield until March, in order to complete training and onboarding and start learning routes
