The Recipe: Help us grow our brand where it matters most, in-store. We're looking for an Instore Sales Territory Manager to own a key patch across Enfield, Stevenage, Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield, Luton, Dunstable, Hemel Hempstead, St Albans and Watford (and everything in between). This is a 12-month maternity cover with plenty of variety, autonomy and real impact. If you love being out in the field, building strong retailer relationships and ensuring our products look their best on shelf, this could be the perfect blend.
The Role: As an Instore Sales Territory Manager, you'll manage a territory of around 200 customers, planning your own diary time, based on customer sales opportunities, to make a difference out in-store. Your day-to-day will include:
- Targeted visits per day across Multiples, High Street and Convenience channels.
- Deliver our commercial plans with first-class execution.
- Driving availability, promotions, POS and compliance across your patch.
- Using data and insight to prioritise where to go and what to action.
- Delivering NPD launches, supporting range reviews and landing planograms.
- Building strong relationships with Store Managers, Trading Managers and store owners.
- Recording activity using our field tools (tablet provided).
- Working flexibly within a supportive Divisional team whilst remaining highly self-motivated in a remote role.
You'll have real ownership of your territory and play a vital part in growing our brand presence on shelf.
Essential Ingredients: To rise in this role, you'll need:
- Field sales, retail or FMCG/commercial experience (typically 3+ years).
- Confidence in turning store data into actionable results.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels in store.
- A self-driven, organised approach to planning your day and managing your patch.
- Comfort with daily travel and store-based activity.
- A genuine team mindset even in a remote role, we collaborate closely within the team but also with other functions across the business.
- You must live within the territory (Enfield / St Albans/ Stevenage / WGC / Hatfield / Dunstable / Hemel / Watford areas).
- Ability to start mid-March to allow for a handover (ideal, not essential).
Working pattern: Monday-Friday. 37.5 hours, with genuine flexibility to plan your day. 12-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover). Competitive salary, profit-related bonus, and company benefits.
