The Recipe
Warburtons, the UK’s largest bakery brand, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Interim People Partner to join our People Team and support our continued growth in the food manufacturing industry.
In this strategic role, you will collaborate closely with business leaders to provide expert coaching and guidance, driving organisational change and talent development. You will play a key role in delivering people plans and commercially focused HR solutions that align with our business objectives.
Your responsibilities will span compliance management, workforce planning, talent acquisition, succession planning, employee engagement, and leadership development. You will champion a high-performance culture and support the development of future-ready teams.
Leveraging SAP SuccessFactors , you will utilise data insights to shape and influence the people agenda, ensuring that all initiatives are targeted, measurable, and outcome-driven.

Key Accountabilities and Measures
- Partner with senior management on the implementation and execution of the Lead for Growth strategy and key people processes.
- Performance coaching leaders to grow talent, simplify organisations, lead, and engage people.
- Develop and execute People Plans, initiatives, and actions in line with business goals and local needs.
- Provide leadership and guidance on People matters, bringing expertise and insights to site leadership and the wider People team.
- Ensure a positive employee experience aligned with our employer of choice ethos and values.
- Drive empowerment/self-service capability of our people and collaborate with People Services, Resourcing, and Advisor teams for support.
- Represent the voice of the internal customer in collaboration with Centres of Excellence and implement central initiatives effectively.
- Maintain continuous professional development (CPD) and share knowledge to develop team skills.
Essential Ingredients
- Proven HR/People business partner experience with senior stakeholders in FMCG, Retail, Manufacturing, or Distribution.
- Senior HR/People generalist with leadership and coaching experience.
- Experience driving and supporting change initiatives.
- Experience working with Trade Unions and/or colleague forums at a site/depot level.
- Broad and deep HR knowledge, regarded as a trusted advisor by senior colleagues and leadership.
