Are you ready for your next role? Are you a Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver looking for a role with a bit more substance (and crust!), this could be your moment to prove you're made of the right dough.

Essential Ingredients
  • Full UK Driving Licence with Class C entitlement
  • Digital Tacho Card
  • Full Driver CPC

As the UK's No.1 bakery brand, we've been baking up a storm since 1876. Today, we're a proud sixth-generation family business, delivering over 70 products to more than 18,000 retail customers from 11 bakeries and 16 depots including gluten and wheat-free options. We're committed to becoming a net-zero business by 2050 and are passionate about minimising our environmental impact while making a positive difference in the communities we serve.

The Recipe
  • You’ll receive a structured induction and support from our in-house driver training team.
  • You’ll be an early riser - shifts start at 4am (some patterns may vary). The upside? Your afternoons are all yours.
  • You’ll enjoy plenty of autonomy. You’ll be given delivery notes (or an electronic device), from which you’ll accurately pick the orders and load your own vehicle with our baked goods either at the depot or on the move.
  • Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and transport legislation (Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, Highway Code, etc.) will be key in order to relay faults on defect forms.
  • Once your route for the day is loaded into your onboard computer, you’re off! You’ll deliver to multiple customers daily, so top-notch service, strong relationships, and professionalism are a must while acting as an ambassador for our brand.
  • You’ll work a defined rota, including weekends. That’s 43 hours a week, though some weeks may be less.

At Warburtons, you’re more than a driver. There’s no aimless wandering looking for things. You load your own vehicle, making things that little bit easier to find. You’ll also make sure each delivery is picked accurately and in full from your delivery notes or electronic device.

Essential Ingredients
  • To join the Warburtons family, you’ll need a LGV Cat C driving licence with no more than 6 points.
  • You’ll also have a good knowledge of transport legislation and tachographs, be reliable, responsible and used to working in a fast-paced environment, ideally with multi-drop experience.

The Biggleswade site is a modern, state-of-the-art operation featuring the latest iCart technology and a fast-growing network of routes, and we’re looking for a reliable, safety-minded Class 2 Driver to deliver great service to our customers every day.

Extra Dough

  • Permanent, stable employment with weekly pay
  • A slice of the profits (discretionary annual profit share)
  • Ongoing CPC Modules (Your training is during working hours - so no need to give up your free time)
  • Award-winning pension scheme: up to 7% contribution (rising to 12% after 5 years)
  • Life assurance
  • Help@Hand support: 24/7 GP access, mental health support, physiotherapy, advice line
  • Grocery Aid: confidential helpline & wellbeing support
  • Product you’ll love, plus deals and discounts for you and the family through our Extra Dough platform
  • Continued investment in your personal development
  • Kitchens fully stocked with our tasty products - perfect to enjoy with your daily brew

More importantly, creating an environment where everyone, from any background, can do their best work, is the right thing to do.
