The Recipe Youll receive a 6-week induction and support from our in-house driver training team.
Youll be an early risershifts start around 03:30 (some patterns may vary). The upside? Your afternoons are all yours.
Youll enjoy plenty of autonomy. Youll be given delivery notes (or an electronic device), from which youll accurately pick the orders and load your own vehicle with our baked goodseither at the depot or on the move.
To help keep your day smooth and safe, knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and transport legislation (Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, Highway Code, etc.) will be key in order to relay faults on defect forms.
Once your route for the day is loaded into your onboard computer, youre off!
Youll deliver to multiple customers daily (theyre like family to us), so top-notch service, strong relationships, and professionalism are a must. This includes being able to manage difficult conversations in a calm manner and acting as an ambassador for our brand.
Youll work a defined rotating 5-day pattern, including weekends. Thats 43 hours a week, though some weeks may be less. All of which will hopefully help you to plan your life around work more easily.

Theres no aimless wandering looking for things. You load your own vehicle, making things that little bit easier to find. Youll also make sure each delivery is picked accurately and in full from your delivery notes or electronic device. About Us Our Bristol Bakery and Distribution depot is located at Severn Beach, near Bristol. Youll find us a 15-minute drive from the M5 and 10 minutes from Severn bridge if youre heading over the bridge from Wales (Toll Free)!
We have 3 state of the art manufacturing plants and Bristol Bakery is the proud home to one of our latest innovations, The Bagel! Bristol manufacture and distribute over 12 different types of bakery products producing over 160,000 units of freshly baked products to delight families across the UK.
