Senior Full Stack Developer – Waracle

Waracle is a leading digital technology consultancy looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team. This hybrid role will be based in Dundee, Glasgow, Edinburgh, or London.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop end‑to‑end full‑stack solutions, delivering robust, scalable systems.
• Drive code quality through peer reviews, establish technical standards, and oversee testing strategies (unit, integration, UI, performance, security, accessibility).
• Act as the technical lead for features and workstreams, translating business objectives into technical requirements and managing project risk.
• Introduce automation and CI/CD pipelines to enhance workflow efficiency and sprint velocity.
• Present technical demos to clients, communicate complex trade‑offs in plain language, and represent Waracle at external events.
• Mentor junior colleagues, lead knowledge‑sharing sessions, and contribute to the technical knowledge base.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience delivering full‑stack applications, with proven technical leadership.
• Expertise in modern front‑end frameworks such as React, Vue, and/or Umbraco.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET, with a solid background in API development, security, and defensive coding.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipeline creation, and Git workflow management.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into clear technical specifications, mentor teammates, and improve application performance.
