This is a Hybrid role working from our London office, 2 days a week. Role OverviewAs a Lead React Native Developer at Waracle, you will define squad-level technical architecture and strategy. You will serve as a technical leader, ensuring quality, security, and compliance across projects while fostering a psychologically safe, collaborative environment where your team can thrive. This role requires deep expertise in React Native, strong problem-solving skills for complex technical challenges, the ability to lead high-impact projects, and effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and with clients. Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesTechnical Excellence: Define squad-level architecture and take accountability for technical delivery outcomes, ensuring high standards in security (e.g., OWASP) and data protection (GDPR). Innovation & Growth: Use your expertise in React Native to build intelligent products, with the opportunity to influence our Go-To-Market strategy for new technical offerings. Leadership & Mentorship: Leading a squad/project and being accountable for delivery; and ensuring a collaborative, safe environment for specialists to succeed. Stakeholder Collaboration: Facilitate workshops to translate ambitious business goals into technical tasks, managing client expectations with clarity and purpose. What you\’ll bringStrong expertise in React Native, essential for this role Extensive experience leading engineering teams and delivering business-critical IT transformation projects. Proven experience in defining technical architecture, selecting frameworks, and managing technical risk. Demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders and translate business objectives into actionable technical tasks. A strong commitment to mentoring and developing engineering talent. Experience in Flutter, iOS/Android, or ReactJS frontend development is not required but considered a valuable bonus.
