- Mentorship & Psychological Safety: A huge part of this role is people-centric. You will coach and mentor engineers, fostering a supportive environment where team members feel safe to innovate, ask questions, and learn from mistakes.
- Strategic Problem Solving: You’ll bridge the gap between business needs and technical reality. By collaborating with Product Owners and DevOps, you’ll identify technical debt and security risks, ensuring they are prioritised and resolved effectively.
- Innovation & Continuous Learning: Stay at the forefront of the industry. You’ll identify new tools and methodologies, conducting sessions to upskill the team and driving a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: You’ll translate complex technical jargon into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders, ensuring project objectives are met with transparency and trust.
