Waracle are looking for a Senior React Native Developer for an exciting new role joining our world-class digital technology consultancy and home to a diverse, smart, curious and ambitious community of specialists in technology-driven transformation. We work with ambitious clients to help them solve their biggest business and customer challenges. We help our clients to innovate and create intelligent digital products and services. We thrive on complex challenges and deliver business-critical IT transformation projects, moving seamlessly from strategy, design and delivery to operations.
This is a Hybrid role, offering the flexibility to balance your professional and personal life, with 2 days a week spent connecting with colleagues in either our Glasgow or Dundee offices.
As a Senior React Native Developer, you will be a vital technical pillar within your squad:
- Optimising app performance, accessibility, and responsiveness.
- Explaining technical trade-offs in plain language.
- A proven track record of delivering complex digital products with a strong grasp of software engineering fundamentals (design patterns, maintainability, security).
- Extensive experience building and delivering mobile applications using React Native and Expo.
- Expertise in designing scalable solutions and defining robust testing strategies across unit, integration, and UI layers.
- Strong experience consuming complex APIs and managing real-time data flows.
- Experience working within Microsoft-centric environments, including Azure-based ecosystems.
- Comfortable contributing across frontend and backend development to deliver end-to-end solutions.
