This is a Hybrid role 2 days per week from our London, Dundee or Glasgow office and is available on a Fixed Term Contract.

In this position, you will be a technical driver for quality, focusing on high‑impact mobile delivery while ensuring backend integrity. You will:
Responsibilities
- Lead Mobile Strategy: Define QA approaches for complex features across iOS and Android, integrating risk analysis and leading exploratory testing efforts.
- Architect Automation: Design and implement modular, reusable, and scalable automation components for mobile platforms, integrating quality checks directly into CI/CD pipelines.
- Champion Quality & NFRs: Independently design and automate tests for performance, security, and accessibility to ensure our products are inclusive and robust.
- Collaborate & Influence: Work closely with developers to improve system testability through better logging and test hooks, and lead defect triage sessions to prioritise fixes based on business impact.
- Drive Technical Standards: Own initiatives such as mobile regression standards and stay at the forefront of mobile testing trends to ensure world‑class delivery.
Qualifications
- Mobile Testing Mastery: Deep experience in mobile testing across iOS and Android, with experience setting up mobile automation frameworks from the ground up.
- Automation Toolkit: Extensive experience with mobile automation frameworks such as Appium, Detox, or Maestro.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in either C#, Typescript or Python.
- Feature Validation: Expert knowledge in validating A/B testing scenarios and feature flag logic to ensure seamless user journeys.
- Infrastructure Knowledge: Proficiency with Git and experience defining and integrating automated quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.
- Communication: Proven ability to communicate quality risks clearly in terms of business and financial impact.
- Experience with React Native or Flutter and a focus on ensuring quality across different mobile platforms.
