We are hiring for an experienced Senior or Lead Product Designer to deliver defined product design work across complex digital initiatives. This is a hands-on contract role focused on project outcomes, operating with a high degree of autonomy within agreed scopes and deliverables. This is a hybrid contract role, based near any of our UK offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, or London.
Scope of work:
- Deliver end-to-end product design for agreed features, journeys, or product areas.
- Produce high-quality UX and UI outputs aligned to existing brand guidelines and design systems.
- Apply inclusive and accessible design best practices as part of delivery.
- Work within and contribute design assets to established design systems and component libraries.
- Collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders to ensure designs are technically feasible and implementation-ready.
- Use research insights, analytics, and experimentation (including A/B testing where applicable) to validate design decisions and iterate towards agreed success measures.
- Support delivery through build and release by providing clear documentation, specifications, and design rationale.
Experience required:
- Demonstrable experience delivering complex product design work from discovery through to launch.
- Strong UX/UI capability across research, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping (e.g. Figma).
- Experience operating in consultancy, agency, or delivery-led environments.
- Clear understanding of technical constraints and how designs translate into build.
- Confident working directly with client and stakeholder representatives.
- Comfortable working to defined scopes, milestones, and timelines in fast-moving environments.
