Waracle are looking for a Learning, Development & Enablement Manager for an exciting new role joining our world-class digital technology consultancy and home to a diverse, smart, curious and ambitious community of specialists in technology-driven transformation. We thrive on complex challenges and deliver business-critical IT transformation projects, moving seamlessly from strategy, design and delivery to operations. This is a Hybrid role with flexibility across our hub locations (Dundee, Glasgow, or Edinburgh).

As our Lead Learning, Development and Enablement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing our vibrant professional communities, championing craft excellence, and empowering our teams with future-ready skills. You will act as a trusted guide and champion for continuous learning across Waracle, shaping an inclusive, forward-thinking training ecosystem where everyone has a clear path to develop their career, master emerging technologies like AI, and build confidence in their everyday craft.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Evolving L&D Strategy & AI Fluency: Design and scale creative learning pathways that boost AI and digital literacy, ensuring our teams stay ahead of industry trends and client needs in a supportive environment.
  • Building Clear Career Pathways: Partner closely with Practice Leaders and the People team to co-create clear, structured learning journeys mapped directly to our career frameworks, giving everyone a visible path from learning to promotion.
  • Leadership & Coaching: Design and facilitate engaging workshops and coaching initiatives that support, mentor, and empower our Line Managers to lead with empathy and clarity.
  • Facilitation & Course Curation: Combine strategic leadership with hands-on delivery by facilitating dynamic workshops, curating high-impact internal/external learning content, and ensuring client-facing courses meet exceptional standards.
  • Cultivating Inclusive Communities: Support and grow internal practice chapters (including AI and Data Engineering) and foster vibrant connections by organising external meet-ups, hackathons, and networking events.
  • Redeveloping the Waracle Academy: Relaunch our Academy and graduate programmes to warmly welcome, mentor, and rapidly elevate early-career talent into high-performing consulting professionals.

What you'll bring:

  • L&D Expertise in Tech: Demonstrable experience designing, facilitating, and scaling meaningful learning initiatives within a digital technology consultancy, software environment, or fast-paced tech sector.
  • Collaborative Leadership: A proven ability to partner with leaders, bridging skill gaps and transforming career frameworks into encouraging, actionable learning steps for team members.
  • Passion for Mentorship & People: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with an innate ability to connect with, motivate, and mentor diverse personalities across hybrid locations.
  • Hands-On Facilitation Skills: Experience designing and leading engaging workshops, leadership programs, and soft-skills coaching tailored to emerging leaders and managers.
  • Modern Platform & Community Experience: Experience managing Learning Management Systems (LMS e.g., Udemy) alongside a passion for building inclusive internal communities or hosting external community events.
  • Strategic & Analytical Mindset: Comfortable using learning metrics and feedback thoughtfully to continuously improve course quality, engagement, and development budgets.
