We work with ambitious clients to help them solve their biggest business and customer challenges. We help our clients to innovate and create intelligent digital products and services. We thrive on complex challenges and deliver business-critical IT transformation projects, moving seamlessly from strategy, design and delivery to operations.
This is an office-based role in Glasgow (37.5 hours per week) requiring regular travel to our other sites to ensure our vibrant culture is felt nationwide.
Your Impact at Waracle
Are you a community-builder who thrives on creating environments where people feel connected and inspired? At the Consultant level, you are the heartbeat of Waracle’s physical workspaces. You don’t just maintain our offices; you optimise them to be a primary driver of our connection-led culture. Operating with high autonomy, you will ensure our environments are a competitive advantage for talent retention and client impressions, acting as a mentor to our "Office Champions" and a strategic partner to our People and Marketing teams.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Culture & Strategy: Design and oversee the nationwide "Workplace Experience" strategy, acting as the face of the Glasgow hub while traveling to other sites to gather feedback and inject energy.
- Inclusive Onboarding: Partner with Talent and People teams to deliver a joined-up onboarding experience, ensuring every new hire feels they belong from day one.
- Brand & Events: Act as the "Brand Guardian" for our physical spaces and lead the logistics for internal celebrations and meetups, ensuring high standards across all locations.
- Operational Excellence: Manage high-level relationships with landlords and vendors, negotiate contracts, and oversee the workplace budget with a focus on sustainable sourcing.
- Workspace Optimisation: Use data and feedback to implement layout changes that improve collaboration, and lead projects for office transitions or refurbs.
- Safety & Compliance: Manage health and safety compliance, including risk assessments and fire safety audits, and own security protocols for all offices.
What you’ll bring:
- A Champion Mindset: You are naturally professional, outgoing, and passionate about building community.
- Independence & Proactivity: A proven ability to manage complex workloads with minimal supervision—you "see around corners" to prevent issues before they arise.
- Collaborative Influence: You can influence team-level decisions and hold vendors to high standards.
- Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of Facilities Management (FM) best practices, health and safety legislation, and workplace design trends.
- Project Management Skills: Experience managing small-to-medium projects, from office refurbs to large-scale events.
- Digital Literacy: Proficiency in G-Suite, Slack, and the ability to adopt new workplace management software.
The recruitment process you can expect for this role is an initial call with your dedicated Talent Attraction Partner who will chat with you about Waracle, what you are looking for in a new position, the salary for the role, notice period and benefits (the important stuff!).
