Work schedule: Monday β Friday 40 hours (Overtime often available)
Key responsibilities:
1.Undertake a comprehensive repair and maintenance service to mechanical/retail equipment at various locations throughout the UKfitting/stripping retail equipment components, straightening and welding to required standard and carry out general maintenance duties at various sites of work. 2.Assist in the timely and effective completion of all reasonable requests made by the Service Office or your Area Supervisor / Line Manger. 3.Carry out special assembly works on a variety of products within our service sector and carry out reactive maintenance and planned preventative inspections and testing on various electro-mechanical equipment. 4.On occasions may be required to work at locations that are deemed too far from home to return, which may result in overnight stays away from home. Company will pay for hotel and evening meal and breakfast in line with policy. 5.Be aware of the standard of works required within the service level agreements between Wanzl Group and their customers 6.Undertake completion of end of job reports, time sheets and any other documentation required, ensuring that you provide timely and accurate information on work activities. 7.Monitor and evaluate the service to the customer, highlighting any gaps in service/standards and/or issues and taking appropriate action to resolve them, involving escalation to your Manager if needed. 8.Utilise the Companys Service Management system and follow guidelines to complete the daily records fully. This includes mandatory daily vehicle checks, refresher training and recording parts used. 9.Be responsible for your own health & safety and the safety of all others working with you and members of staff, public and customers in your working vicinity and follow all associated safe working procedures for the repairs, maintenance and inspections you carry out. 10.Be aware and comply fully with the Company Vehicle Information policy 11.Be aware of the Company Policy relating to provision of working equipment. 12.Attend all relevant training sessions. Specific requirements for this role are: β Must live within the M25 area. β Must have good electrical and mechanical fault-finding ability coupled with maintenance skills with suitable qualifications. β Previous hydraulic knowledge. β Previous experience working on balers -To comply with Wanzls Facial Hair Policy, you must be clean shaven in order to wear the required Respiratory Protective Equipment.This applies to all employees, however, alternative RPE is provided for those with relevant religious beliefs or medical conditions.
