We’re looking for a Cyber Security Sales Solution Lead who will be the commercial face of our security practice — turning Wanstor’s security capability into compelling propositions, winning bids, and confident customer conversations. The role partners with Account Managers across the full sales cycle, leads presales engagements, and owns the development of our security propositions, services and go-to-market story.
What You'll Do
- Partner closely with Sales to lead the presales and customer engagement process for security opportunities, acting as the technical and commercial security lead throughout the sales cycle.
- Develop and evolve Wanstor’s security propositions, creating productised services, pricing models, sales collateral, and go-to-market offerings aligned to customer needs and market trends.
- Lead customer discovery sessions and workshops, translating complex security challenges into clear business outcomes and commercially viable solutions.
- Support and enable Account Managers through coaching, training, and hands-on collaboration to grow security opportunities across the wider Wanstor portfolio.
- Own the security content within proposals, RFPs, RFIs, and statements of work, ensuring solutions are deliverable, competitive, and commercially strong.
- Build strong relationships with vendor partners such as Microsoft to align on incentives, funding opportunities, and joint go-to-market activity.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and the evolving threat landscape to continuously improve Wanstor’s security propositions, sales approach, and differentiation.
What You'll Need
- Proven experience driving security sales growth in a presales, proposition, or commercially focused security role, ideally within an MSP, consultancy, or vendor environment.
- Strong commercial awareness, with confidence discussing pricing, deal economics, and how proposition strategy translates into pipeline growth and revenue.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with Sales teams, coaching and enabling Account Managers while acting as the lead security voice with customers.
- Technical credibility across the Microsoft security ecosystem, including Defender, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Azure, Sentinel, and Purview, alongside broader cyber security domains.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders, deliver compelling proposals, and simplify complex security concepts into business value.
- Experience shaping and evolving security propositions, including decisions around service development, vendor partnerships, and go-to-market strategy.
What You'll Love
- Generous Time Off: Enjoy 24 days of annual leave, increasing by 1 day each year up to 28 days, plus Bank Holidays.
- Continuous Learning: Participate in regular lunch and learn sessions with both internal and external speakers.
- Personal Development: Take advantage of 5 paid days annually to pursue new skills or knowledge.
